USING BLOGS IN THE ENGLISH CLASS

I think the use of blogs in the teaching and learning process is a useful tool not only to learn but also to share experiences, information, opinions and so on. On the one hand, the educational benefits are endless . Students are provided with excellent opportunities to read and write, to discuss unit topics , to work in a collaborative way making ppt , to search for and share information… On the other hand, students feel motivated since they have their work digitally published like a portfolio where they can see their progress making every time more efforts to improve. In addition , students become participants in a community of learners that can extend beyond their classroom. In conclusion, blogs can create a valuable environment where students involve in their own learning process .
